Photography, for me, is a way of preserving what is fleeting — a gesture, a presence, a moment that will never exist again.
Hello and welcome.
I am Jean-François, a Franco-American photographer and laureate of several prestigious international awards, working between France and the United States.
My work sits at the intersection of photojournalism and fashion photography. As a former photojournalist, I developed a deep sensitivity to authentic moments and human connection. Fashion photography later refined my eye for light, composition, and elegance. Together, these influences shape the way I photograph weddings, portraits, and editorial work.
Over the years, my images have appeared in several international editions of Vogue, Numéro, and Harper’s Bazaar, experiences that continue to inform my visual language and editorial sensibility.
Today, my work unfolds through three complementary worlds — weddings, fashion, and portraiture — united by the same intention: to capture presence, character, and emotion with discretion, precision, and timeless style.
My work is ultimately about one thing: preserving moments that will continue to speak long after they have passed.
